My inspiration comes from God's magnificent creation all around us. Everyday I try to get out and take a walk to refresh my senses. I breath in the various scents of the season, listen to the sounds of birds singing, crickets chirping, and of the breeze blowing through the trees, or the stillness of the day. I look, taking in the incredible colors of God's ever changing palette as the sun rises and sets each day. I delight in viewing everything from the breathtaking expansive views, to the intricate details of a solitary leaf. I find people as perhaps God's most fascinating handiwork, so you will often see me observing the people around me. My hope is to capture a moment in time, something that will grace the homes of my patrons, paintings that quietly speak to their viewers for years to come of the joy and wonder of our world. Raising my four children was my first calling, and they made it an awesome experience. Painting has now become my second calling, my passion. I started with watercolor, and now I am painting with acrylics. I often get lost in the process, a wonderful part of painting. The results continue to surprise me. I look forward to the work ahead and hope my art will be a blessing to those who view it.
